One of the many nice things about doing crafts with kids is that it can be either and indoor or outdoor activity.

We've done crafts not only at the kitchen or playroom tables, but also along the side of the neighborhood swimming pool or at park picnic tables.

Here are 16 easy art projects for toddlers and preschoolers that all have a summer theme.
