Do you ever use store-bought pasta sauce?

How about salsa?

Jelly? Olives? Pickles? Applesauce?

If so, I bet you’re throwing away all those jar lids when you and your kids could be making a cute winter snowman out of them.

After reading this post, you’ll know exactly how to turn 3 of those jar lids into a snowman.

Snowman Craft Directions

  1. Paint the front side of your paint stir stick white. Paint 2-3 layers for best coverage. (NOTE: We used a stir stick from a local hardware store, so we needed to cover their logo. If you’re just using a blank stick, you can skip this step and just paint it blue.)

  2.

  3. Make sure to move your paint stick over to the other side of the paper once you paint the first layers, so that it won’t stick to the paper.

  4.

  5. Once the paint is dry, paint a layer of blue paint over the white paint.

  6.

  7. While the blue layer is drying, paint the top of the lids white. Paint 2-3 layers for the best coverage.
