Penguins are sooo cute.
I remember when our family went to the Gatlinburg Aquarium years ago, the penguin exhibit was our favorite part.

I've also included some penguin books and toys to get you and your family totally immersed in the penguin mood.
Penguin Books for Preschoolers
If your kids are interested in coloring penguins, they'd probably also like to read about them. Below are some penguin-themed picture books to read with little ones.
If your kids are a little older (say, first or second grade), Mr. Popper's Penguins is a fun read-aloud that my kids enjoyed at that age.
(I would recommend NOT seeing the movie version with Jim Carey.
Well, actually, if you have little kids they'll probably think it's hilarious, so maybe you should it ... but only if you realize going into it that a) it's really stupid; and b) it's nothing -- absolutely nothing -- like the book.)
