This recipe was inspired by my other popular blog creation, and it pairs beautifully with the creamy and comforting Loaded Twice Baked Potatoes, which are the perfect warm side to balance out your spooky snacks. Together, these two make a Halloween spread that’s both festive and satisfying!

How to Make Mummy Pigs in a Blanket
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and let it heat for about 5 minutes. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Using a knife or pizza cutter, slice each triangle into thin strips, about ¼ inch wide.
Take one hot dog and start wrapping it with a crescent roll strip, leaving a small gap where the face will be. Continue wrapping until the hot dog is mostly covered and resembles a mummy.
Repeat the wrapping process with the remaining hot dogs and dough strips.
Place the wrapped hot dogs in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other.
Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the mummy dogs from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
Place the edible eyeballs in the gap left for the face. If needed, use a tiny bit of mustard or ketchup to help them stick.
Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup or mustard.
Hint: To keep cleanup easy, line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or a silicone liner. This helps prevent sticking and makes clean-up faster.
