Ingredients

  • 13.8 oz can of pizza dough
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 4 tablespoon Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 9 slices pepperoni
  • ½ cup pizza sauce

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Tear off nine golf ball-sized pieces of pizza dough. Roll each piece into a ball and place into a greased muffin tin. Cover the muffin tin with plastic wrap. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes, until slightly puffy. While the dough rises, preheat your oven to 400°F.
  3. Once the dough is ready, brush the garlic butter mixture into each muffin cup, then place a dough ball in each one. Lightly oil your hands and press down in the center of each dough ball to form a deep well. Brush a little more garlic butter into the wells.
  4. Add one slice of pepperoni and a spoonful of pizza sauce into each well.
  5. Top each with a generous pinch of shredded mozzarella.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 13–15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  7. Right after baking, brush the tops with more garlic butter and sprinkle a bit of Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
