Every now and then my life gets a little more exciting than just cooking dinner, reading books, or going to Chick-Fil-A — and that’s when I play the piano at a wedding or party.

Yesterday I played for an outdoor Jewish wedding. Weddings are always beautiful, but outdoors are always extra nice.

I was happy that I had a purple dress to wear, as one of the wedding colors was purple. It was almost a perfect match, too!

The couple had several specific song requests, including “Sunrise, Sunset” from Fiddler on the Roof, Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” and this lovely song that was brand-new to me:
