Our Visit to Tom and Chee

We’re big Shark Tank fans around here, and I’m probably the biggest fan in the house.

I could write an entire post about why I like Shark Tank (and maybe will), but one of the reasons is that we learn about some kinda cool stuff — food that looks great, products that look useful, and interesting places to go, some of which are franchises.

Last week while we were at Rebecca’s cake decorating class, I realized that there was a Tom+Chee just a couple miles down the road, and I surprised Rebecca by taking her there after class.

I was a little overwhelmed with the menu and asked for some recommendations. We ended up getting the Flying Pig

…. and one of their “Crunchy Grilled Cheese” sandwiches, the BBQ+Bacon

I definitely preferred the Flying Pig. The BBQ+Bacon was bit too fatty and greasy for my tastes. In fact, if we ever go back (and Rebecca definitely wants to) I would prefer to split a sandwich with somebody and get a salad or soup on the side.
